New Evening Class Schedule at Hennepin Technical College

Maybe you’re in an entry-level shop position and hoping to move ahead?
Working adults trying to balance transportation college classes and a busy schedule have new options available because Hennepin Technical College, one of the metro’s top educators of auto body and auto tech professionals, has added new sections of evening classes beginning in January. Classes meet 4 evenings a week, Monday through Thursday.
At the college’s Eden Prairie campus the evening courses are in the Auto Body Collision program, and at the Brooklyn Park campus the new courses are in Automotive Technology. “For years, you needed to begin in the fall semester to be part of the transportation program. If a student decided in September to get started, the schedule meant there’d be an 11-month wait,” says Alison Leintz, the college’s Interim Dean of Career & Technical Education. “Because many of our students are working adults, we’ve added classes that start in spring semester to be responsive to our students and our industry partners.”
The spring semester begins January 14, but priority class registration is open now to new students.
